One Continuous Mistake is a performance duo founded, abolished and re-founded in 2006 as a laboratory for the exploration of pain, ecstasy, and willful idiocy.
Taavo Smith has variously called himself an actor, sketch comedian, playwright, butoh dancer and clown. He's a native of Cambridge, Massachusetts, an alumnus of Macalester College, and covered in a thick layer of body hair.
Ben Stuber is an ürdisciplinary actor, dancer and designer, an alumnus of Oberlin College, and a perpetual explorer with lurid dreams of re-imagining the American theater and eliminating his need for sleep.
Ben and Taavo met in Chicago, graduated from Naropa University's MFA Theatre: Contemporary Performance and currently live in Brooklyn, New York.
